Amazing! That's the word to best describe this shampoo...Creme of Nature Argan Oil Sulfate-free Moisture & Shine Shampoo. Finally a product that actually does what the title says it will do. I will do a full review on another post.
I am still using my MN oil mix at least every other night on my scalp, massage my scalp then wrap my hair for the night. This weighs my hair down so I try to wash my hair at least twice a week. One of the things I continue to battle on wash day is how dry my hair sometimes feel. I thought it was the tea rinse and not conditioning enough afterward but I did two washes without the tea and my hair didn't feel any different. After a lot of YouTube watching and blog reading I decided to try a few things different.
I shampooed twice using the Creme of Nature Argan oil Sulfate-free Moisture & Shine Shampoo. I know that sulfate-free shampoos don't provide a great deal of lather so I focused on just applying to my scalp and massaging the scalp to remove build-up. Having shower issues resulted in the shampoo sitting on my head for about 5 minutes before I was able to rinse. MY HAIR WAS SO FREAKIN SOFT!!! I rinsed and rinsed and rinsed thinking I still had suds but there was none just a head of very hydrated hair.
I was scared that my hair would be too moisturized so I DC'd using L'OREAL Everstrong Deep Replenishing Masque for about an hour without heat.
Another battle I'm having with my wash day is the amount of hair that's left on my floor after blow drying. I don't shed a great deal during the week anymore but I seem to make up for it on wash day. A few of the videos I watched the ladies sectioned their hair into 4 quadrants. My hair is only shoulder length but I still was able to section to apply my leave-ins and blow dry a section at a time. My hair dried in no time and a LOT, LOT less hair on my bathroom floor. I am still in love with my TRESemme Thermal Creations Heat Tamer Leave-in Spray.
I didn't have necessarily a great deal of "body" per se but the bounce and flow of my locks had me tossing it all over the place. My hubby was even running his hands through almost putting me to sleep :) I'd like to see more nature shine, till then I'll keep using the Aveda Brilliant Emollient Finishing Gloss. Its not heavy even though the first 5 ingredients are 'cones'. Its a great gloss/serum during the humid summer months. Overall very happy with the results of today's wash.
