These are the supplements that I take and they all seem to work well together and for me in regards to my hair. I recommend that you do your research before taking any of these and do what works for you. I've uploaded a video on my YouTube channel as well.
Nioxin Intensive Therapy Recharging Complex is a dietary supplement for the healthy growth of hair, skin and nails. A multivitamin and mineral supplement that contains niacinamide, a factor in the maintanance of good health of hair, skin and nails. *This product has been discontinued by the manufacturer
Biotin - Part of vitamin B group. Helps maintain healthy hair and treat hair loss by nourishing cells through the body.
MSM (Methylsulfonylmethane) - Source of sulfar, one of the main building blocks of hair and nails. It is theorized that MSM may increase the rate of growth due to stretching out the Anagen growth phase of hair.
Odorless Garlic - Allicin is the compound in garlic that provides its health benefits. Take a clove and finely chop to release the allicin. Use immediately in your shampoo, conditioner, or deep conditioner. Garlic helps hair grow, adds shine, stimulate blood flow to scalp, relieve dry hair and itchy scalp. You can also purchase garlic shampoos from your local BSS that are odorless.
Selenium - Used to make selenoproteins which aid with hair follicle stimulation. I take a 200mcg capsule once a week. *Adverse effects include hair loss and unusual changes in hair texture if too little or too much selenium is consumed.
I take one capsule, once a day with a meal unless otherwise stated. As a reminder discuss the supplements and medications you take with your health care provider.
